I Don’t Want To DIE!

As crazy, and chaotic as my life can be I LOVE IT. I love my wife, my kids, my friends, and this crazy idea called Real Fusion. I am passionate about food. When I go on vacation I don’t care about the site seeing all I want to know is where I can get some good eats (Alton Brown ref.). I enjoy being entertained. Give me a good movie, popcorn, and a soda and you will have one happy hombre. When I think about all the things that I enjoy about life death just isn’t appealing to me. If the apostle Paul were here I am sure that he would smack me up side the head. “Everything you enjoy about your life pails in comparison to meeting the man responsible for it,” he would say. Ok, wait a second my mind just blew… Every good and perfect gift comes from our father. The one responsible for all that we enjoy said, “I am going to prepare a place for you.” I think as christians we have done a pretty lousey job of marketing heaven. Who is going to want to go to a place and sit with a bunch of souls and watch things fly around? But that is what most people would say heaven is going to be. “It is going to be amazing.” “Angle will be flying around the throne of God.” I will be the one trying to peg one with a spit ball. Kidding. All I am saying is…if God has hooked us up in this life how much more will we enjoy the after life. Think about it…
